Created by Steph and Dave in 2002, thefoodplace.co.uk has grown into one of the largest and most popular restaurant and takeaway guides in the UK with over 3.7 million visitors in 2010. Our aim is for the site to be the most useful restaurant and takeaway guide in the UK.
As well as browsing the listings and reviews, visitors can order takeaway online from thousands of takeaways across the country or book a table online at a restaurant.
Unlike many guide websites, listings are completely free.
